Episode 7: Ron Hoffman, MD

Today on the Art and Soul of Healing we will visit with my longtime friend, Dr. Ron Hoffman. Ron is a medical doctor but with extensive additional training in complementary and alternative medicine and integrative therapies. Ron is one of the pioneers of integrative medicine starting the Hoffman Center in New York City in 1985. This was before integrative medicine was a thing! The reason he started in this field was because he knew it was the right thing to do for patients. The Hoffman Center was one of the first comprehensive integrative practices delivering innovative medical care in the US. He continues to this day seeing patients and supervising integrative therapies.

Ron launched the popular nationally syndicated radio program, intelligent medicine in 1988! Truly one of the pioneers. He has now expanded into podcasting with the show under the same title. Ron is an author of many books, numerous scientific articles, and medical book chapters. He has a passion for teaching medical practitioners and patients alike.
